— Clayton police arrested two teenagers Friday who they say broke into a home this week and stole Christmas gifts.

Jon Landon Wall, 16, of 209 Compton St., Clayton, and Oscar Tony Jones, 17, of 107 Clydesdale Drive, Zebulon, each face charges of felonious breaking and entering and felonious larceny.

Both were in the Johnston County jail Friday afternoon, each under a $50,000 secured bond.

Police say the two apparently forced open the back door of a home on East Blanche Street and opened wrapped Christmas gifts and stole them, as well as other items in the home.

Some of the stolen items, investigators said, have been recovered.

Good candidates for the castle doctrine.

They need to wear a 4 inch x 12 inch sign around their neck's stating "THIEF" for the next 6 months.

Then again, send them to the middle east for punishment since the court systems don't do anything more than smack their hands.

They were lucky the home owner was not home and dropped the hammer on them

Put em in the cell together with a TV and make em watch " How the Grinch stole Christmas" over and over for the next three days.

Don't let them out until next year.

Good maybe they will get the message that you cannot break into someone home and take things that do not belong to you. Let them sit there and think about what they have done.

Bet Santa won't be seeing them. I sure hope their parent understands the value of leaving them in jail over the Holidays.
