Due to the progress known as the US 70 Bypass around Clayton, this has become a dead end road of +/-2 miles in length. The entry from Little Creek Church Road is a long descent and then ascent in a sharp curve. Prior to the road becoming a dead end, the other "end" was level roadway to an intersection with Little Creek. Wrecks have become fairly common place for those of us living along this part of the road. This is the first fatality. But it was coming, unfortunately.

I pray for the injured driver and the family of the driver killed. May the peace of God envelope them.
