Clayton police seek public's help to ID armed robbery suspect

Police were seeking the public's help Tuesday to identify an armed robbery suspect who entered the Howard's Mini Mart on Barber Mill Road in Clayton.

— Police were seeking the public's help Tuesday to identify an armed robbery suspect who entered the Howard's Mini Mart on Barber Mill Road in Clayton.

According to employees, a man wearing a mask and armed with a rifle entered the store at about 9 p.m. on Nov. 12., demanded cash, took money and then ran out. No one was injured.

Authorities and a K9 unit responded to the scene but were not able to locate the suspect.

    I don't know Frank by name, but I bet I've talked to him. They've got some good cookin' going on there, and good folks too.

    Hope they catch the son of a female dog (WRAL, are you happy now?).

    Every time I see stuff like this I wonder why store owners don't upgrade their security cameras. This guy probably lives within a 25 mile radius of his crime, but his own mother wouldn't recognize him from this picture.

    Hopefully karma (or JCSO, same thing sometimes...) will catch up with him.
