Clayton man charged with statutory rape of 14-year-old

Raleigh, N.C. — A 41-year-old Clayton man has been charged by Raleigh police with the statutory rape of a child under 15 years old.
Phillip Scott Morris, of 129 Hardaway Point, is charged with four counts of felony statutory rape of a child in connection with incidents that police say happened in May 2015.
Authorities say Morris had sex with a 14-year-old.
Morris was being held under a $2 million bond.
