Clayton, N.C. — A Clayton man is facing drug charges after police say they found a marijuana growing operation at his home.
Azariah S. Santoli, 24, of 147 Kewsick Lane, is charged with one felony count each of manufacturing marijuana, possession of marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for the sale and manufacture of marijuana.
A search of Santoli's residence on Friday revealed an elaborate hydroponic marijuana growing operation, police said. Investigators seized 48 plants and growing materials such as fans, lights and fertilizers.
Santoli was being held under a $150,000 bond in the Johnston County jail on Friday.
