Clark Co. corrections deputy arrested for sexual misconduct involving an inmate

Clark County, WA — A Clark County Sheriff's Office corrections deputy has been arrested for sexual misconduct.
Corrections Deputy Christopher A. North, 29, was arrested Wednesday after an investigation was done into allegations of on-duty sexual misconduct.
Detectives say the female victim in the case was an inmate at the Clark County Jail.
No other details about the case have been released as detectives are continuing to investigate.
North has been booked into the Clark County Jail on charges of indecent liberties with referred charges of custodial sexual misconduct in the second degree. He will be in court on July 27.
North has been employed as a corrections deputy since January 2015.
