CineBistro sets grand opening for Sept. 4

Posted August 25, 2015

CineBistro will open in late summer in Waverly Place in Cary.

— The luxury movie theater/restaurant concept CineBistro has set Sept. 4 for opening night in Cary's Waverly Place, and online reservations for the theater's leather recliners will open this week, the company said.

For a ticket price of $14.50 per adult and $12 for those 3-12 and shows before 4 p.m., guests can dine in their seats on selections from a menu that includes crabcakes, steak, housemade hummus, Korean wings, eggplant dip and beet salad.

Note: There are two luxury theaters in Cary. CineBowl and Grille, which is a little more family-friendly with an arcade and bowling alley, opened last week in Parkside Town Commons.

Given that they have 8 other locations, I'm not sure they are in immediate peril of closing. With 3 entrees at $17, and the highest at $29, it's not much different than going to a nice restaurant before the movie. You just get to do less driving.
