PRINCETON, N.C. — A massive search involving local and state law enforcement officers and dozens of volunteers ended Monday afternoon in a happy homecoming for Patricia Ann Jordan of Princeton.

As sheriff, I am humbled by the dedication of the public servants who volunteered their time in this search and the outpouring of support from members of hte community who stopped by the command center and left food and water, voicing their appreciation for our service," said Johnston County Sheriff Steve Bizzell.

Jordan was taken to Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield for evaluation.
