— The fun loving, yellow, fan favorite food truck will have sibling this spring. Five years ago, the original Chirba Chirba truck hit the streets. It has been a rodeo favorite ever since. Nate Adams, of Chirba Chirba, said the new truck will be bigger to meet demand and allow them to expand their menu’s specials. The second truck will also allow the busiess to expand their catering and special event availability. As anticipated with their expanded operations, they will be looking to increase their crew to meet thee larger schedule. We’ll post more details as they develop.

Raleigh Brewing 3rd Anniversary

This Saturday, come celebrate at Raleigh Brewing. The event will include live music, giveaways, and food trucks - Bo’s Kitchen, Cousins Maine Lobster and Philly’s. A few specialty beers will available during the event as well. The party is noon to 11 p.m.

Two food trucks collaborate for Berkeley Café for Takeover Tuesday

JP with KocinA and Joe with BulKogi will join menus for a food truck mash-up Tuesday night at the Berkeley Cafe. Fans of both trucks will immediately notice the collaboration with Koreapan (KocinA’s Choripan with BulKogi’s Bibimbap sauce and kimchi) and Korean chicken BBQ stuffed arepa. The Berkeley Café event runs 6 to 9 p.m.

Flowers Fest: Dine, Dance, and Decant

Flowers Crossroads is hosting a food truck and live music festival on April 16 called Flowers Fest: Dine, Dance, and Decant. The event will also feature hot air balloon rides and a beer truck. 

​Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo releasing 2016 VIP wristbands

Ever wanted to be first in line for your favorite food trucks? The Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo has announced its dates for this year: May 1, June 12, Aug. 7 and Oct. 9. VIP early admission wristbands, which let you get in to buy food before the general public, are on sale now.
