Children found with grandmother in Fayetteville after 5-hour search

Linsley Beam, 6, is white with blonde hair and was last seen wearing a pint shirt and pink flip-flops. Antonio Beachamp, 2, is white with dark brown hair. He was wearing only a diaper when they were last seen near Sherwood Park Elementary School on Hope Mills Road.

— A 6-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy reported missing Saturday night in Fayetteville were found safe with their grandmother just before 2 a.m.

Police, firefighters and neighbors near Sherwood Park Elementary School searched for Linsley Beam, 6, and Antonio Beachamp, 2, for about five hours into the wee hours of Sunday morning.

According to officials with the Fayetteville Police Department, the children had been picked up by their grandmother without their parents' knowledge.

    Something missing here, 2.00AM , back up 5 hours ,10:00 PM, Where were the kids and parents at 10:00 PM. Or better yet what were the parents doing , not to see the Grandmother pick them up?
