Parents, please keep diligent watch over your little ones. They are quicker, smarter and much more capable than than they appear.

According to the Sanford Herald, the parents had just lost custody of this child last week to the Moore County DSS. They were visiting the child at the grandfathers home. Very Sad.

Don't make excuses for parents that did not do their job of watching a helpless baby. This baby did not know danger and depended on the parents to take care of him/her. WOW! lousy job parents and may this be with you for the rest of your life.

"It only take a second and the little ones can get away from you."

Regardless, the parents SHOULD HAVE been watching that baby. They were not and now are faced with consequenes of this baby's death. What were the parents doing that they could not keep an eye on the baby?

mad_dash - "It only take a second and the little ones can get away from you."

That's true, and there's usually only one second between life and death, the length of one's breath.

    God bless.

"Authorities said the boy’s parents said they lost sight of him."

Well, even Jesus' parents lost him at the temple, thinking he was with the other.

But around a pool that should be gated and locked when small children are around...sigh!!!

Tough way to learn this lesson, very tough!!!

    God bless.

Obviously, the parents was NOT watching this baby. If they were then the incident would not have happen. My condolences to the family.
