Checkout 51 Details

There is a new, free coupon source available called Checkout 51 that can be used in conjunction with paper coupons and other digital coupon programs!  You can use it with your smartphone or computer.

Here's how it works:

* Sign up on the Checkout 51 website HERE for free using your e-mail or Facebook info.

* Browse the available offers (and print out a list if you don't think you will remember them).

* Head to the store (any store) and buy the offers you want (like $1 cash back on ANY gallon of milk or .50 cash back on a package of Lenders bagels).

* Take a photo of your receipt and upload it to Checkout 51.

* Once they confirm your purchase, they will credit your account. I received credit for the 2 receipts I have submitted within 24 hours!

* When you accrue $20 in your Checkout 51 account, you can cash it out in the form of a check mailed to your address.

Additional information:

* This program is not store specific. You can buy the items at any store, which is a big bonus.

* New offers come out each Thursday and are available until the next Wednesday. You have to buy the participating product and submit the receipt during that week to get credit. Not everyone gets the same offers so make sure you log into your account to see what offers you received.

* There are a limited number of redemptions per item so make sure you submit the receipt as soon as possible so you can get the deal.

* You will be allowed to get cash back once for each offer.

* You CAN use Checkout 51 offers with paper coupons and other digital coupon sites like ibotta and SavingStar, com! I love that aspect of this program!

For many more details, check out the Checkout 51 help section.

Woah. You need to contact them and ask them if it was someone in your area that entered it.
I'm wondering, are employees at Walgreens (and possibly other stores) reprinting receipts and entering them as if they bought the items, knowing how Ck 51 works???
That would KILL that concept they have going!
Call or email Checkout and tell them what's going on and see if they can offer a solution? Let us know if you do!

I just got an email that my receipt that I had uploaded for milk at Walgreens was rejected because they claim it was already submitted by another member, which is impossible since this receipt has been in my possession ever since I got it. So to me, it looks like this site is bordering on being fraudulent.

Yay!!! I am constantly being dragged (kicking and screaming at times) into the technobabble world, one step at a time.
Really easy to upload photos and so worth the savings.
I usually print out my list after signing in so that I can see it in front of me as I make my shopping lists during that week. The older I get the more visual clues I need LOL

I'm so proud of myself that I figured out how to upload a receipt today. Too bad I didn't realize the deals only run from Thursday - Wednesday, and I tried it on milk I bought yesterday. I was very pleasantly surprised how easy it was and will definitely tune in a bit more to my dates and try it again. :)

Already got credit for my bananas I bought and entered the receipt on, in less than an hour.
    Checkout is awesome!

    AGAUGERCPA - Same here - I've also received a .50/1 rather than $1/2 offer both last week and this week. Still a great deal though, during HT's SDs: $1.29 x 2 = $2.58 - $1/2 MQ - .50 checkout 51 = $0.08 for 2 bags.

On the flip side, do make sure you actually log into your Checkout 51 account each week rather than just viewing the offers in your e-mail. Last week my e-mail said nothing about bread, nor did Faye's preview, but online my account showed an offer for $0.50 for any loaf.

  • DianeNC Feb 20, 2014

Forgot to mention, in addition to the $0.50 banana offer, I also got an offer for $2.00 off when I upload a receipt for any purchase! Not bad! : )

  • DianeNC Feb 20, 2014

If you got the $0.50 off any banana purchase over $1 offer, don't forget there's also the Saving Star offer of 20% off on up to $10 of bananas to make it an even better deal, so make sure to purchase your bananas at one of the Savings Star-participating stores. (The Saving Star offer expires on 2/24/14.)

  • privilegesrevoked Feb 20, 2014

I got the .50 cents of any banana purchase over $1 too. Also got the $1 off two Halls drops bags. Yippee!

agaugercpa - Not everyone gets all the sale deals from Checkout 51. You have to log into your account to see the specific ones you get. It has happened that way since they started offering the deals. The list I post each week is a preview list that they send me to post, but again, you need to check your specific offers to see what you got. I do think it is strange and kind of aggravating that they give us all the same deals. Would make more sense. Hope that helps! :-)
