Charlotte native lived 'League of Their Own'

— Dolly Vanderlip Ozburn, of Charlotte, was known to teammates as "Lippy" when she was one of the youngest players in the All American Girls Professional Baseball League.

She played for teams in Fort Wayne and South Bend in Indiana and later consulted on "A League of Their Own."
