CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The Town of Chapel Hill Revenue Collection services will move temporarily to University Square at 143 W. Franklin St. while repairs to the first floor of Town Hall are underway. The payment center, which is expected to open Sept. 23, will be located between Time-Out and Optometric Eye Care.

Residents who need to make public housing rental or tax payments in person should come to this location. Payments by mail may be made to the Town of Chapel Hill, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC 27514, or via the outside drop box at Town Hall. Staffers are considering options for business, inspections and building permit payments.

The 42-year-old Town Hall was damaged in flooding after a huge volume of rain - about 5 inches - fell within a few hours on June 30.
