<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A 21-year-old soldier from Chapel Hill kidnapped and sexually assaulted a child he met on the Internet, investigators allege in arrest warrants.

Christopher Michael Anderson was arrested by Wake County sheriff's deputies on Friday and taken to the Wake County jail.

He faces charges of felony kidnapping and soliciting a child for sex for crimes that happened in May, warrants state.

According to the Sampson County Sheriff's Office, a school resource officer discovered the body of a man inside a vehicle at Hobbton Middle School athletic field. Authorities believe the man died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
