Chapel Hill police asked for the public's help Friday to locate a man wanted for taking a bicycle worth about $5,000 from a shop at University Mall.

Chapel Hill police seek man wanted for stealing bicycle
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police asked for the public's help Friday to locate a man wanted for taking a bicycle worth about $5,000 from a shop at University Mall. 

Investigators said the man took the Orbea Ordu bicycle, which is black with red accents, from TrySports on April 26. 

Anyone with information about the theft should call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2883 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515. 

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
