Chapel Hill police seek suspect in domestic assaults

— Chapel Hill police are seeking a man charged in multiple domestic assaults and robbery.

Willie Edward McCain, 29, is wanted on three counts of assault on a female, one count of simple assault, one count of interfering with emergency communication and one count of common law robbery.

McCain, who is about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, was last seen in the area of Willow Drive at University Mall around 9:45 a.m. Monday.

Police ask that anyone who knows his whereabouts to call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515.

Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous, and the caller might be eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

    If the police had him the courts would let him go on probation! Probation would lose track of him! Some other person with the same name will be arrested and spend 4 hours in jail! He will kill that same domestic! Some police officer might get hurt arresting him again! He'll get out on bail this time and on and on and on........Career criminal. These people crave discipline! They didn't get it when they were young! We can't send him back to his mother, so lock him up! Put him some place where he can be told what to do and when to do it for the rest of his natural life!
