Chapel Hill, N.C. — A 12-year-old boy who was missing from Chapel Hill since Monday was found safe Tuesday, police said.
Chapel Hill police had asked for the public's help in locating Simon Bruckert, who was last seen at about 3 p.m. Monday in the area of Whole Foods on South Elliot Road in Chapel Hill.
Shortly after 5 p.m., police said the boy had been found and returned home safely. They did not provide further details.
