Raymond Franklin Huntington

— Police in Chapel Hill are asking for the public's help finding a man who never returned home Monday after he was expected to travel to Raleigh.

Raymond Franklin Huntington, 57, was last seen near Granville Road in Chapel Hill driving a black Honda CR-V with North Carolina license place HUMNISIM.

Police say Huntington is diabetic and that they don't believe he has his medication.

It's unclear if Huntington went to Raleigh.

He is white, stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall, has a large build, gray hair and a goatee.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 911, the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2870 or Orange County Emergency Services at 919-732-5063.

I hope they find him safe. My dad is diabetic and when his sugar drops he looses his orientation and comes across as drunk. I hope someone is able to recognize the symptoms (if that is indeed the case) and help him out before its too late.

Huh. I saw that car and license plate several weeks ago near Ephesus Church and 15-501. But not since. I remember thinking the license plate was interesting but thought nothing more of it.
