— Police on Friday identified a man wanted in connection with a recent break-in at a local Food Lion supermarket.

Anthony Suggs, 33, is wanted on charges of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny in the July 11 burglary of a Food Lion on Weaver Dairy Road, police said.

A masked man smashed a window at the store, went inside and filled a trash can with tobacco products before fleeing, police said. The same man is believed to have robbed Food Lion stores in Hillsborough, Durham and Creedmoor, police said.

Suggs is described as a black man, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 145 pounds, with brown eyes and receding black hair. He has scars around both eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call the Chapel Hill Police Department at 919-968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 919-942-7515.

He probably sold all the tobacco products by now.

He will enjoy the best fried chicken Orange County has to offer, at the OC Jail. And free air conditioning, and cable TV too.

Great job identifying him - police do great work. Too bad the same cannot be said about our justice system.
