Chapel Hill police say a fight on Franklin Street led to one man being shot and another being arrested early Sunday.
Posted — UpdatedCHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Chapel Hill police say a fight on Franklin Street led to one man being shot and another being arrested early Sunday.
The shooting happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. in the 100 block of East Franklin Street.
Steven Charles Moore Jr. was taken to UNC Hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police arrested Ledarren Deshawn Parker, 18, of N. Gurthrie Avenue in Durham, and charged him with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and resisting arrest. He was being held in the Orange County jail under a $15,000 secured bond.
