Chapel Hill playgrounds closed for maintenance
Homestead Park and Community Center playgrounds will be closed for maintenance.

Two Chapel Hill playgrounds will be closed for maintenance this week.
The Homestead Park playground will be closed starting Monday and should reopen Thursday. The Community Center play area will close on Tuesday and should reopen on March 25.
The reopening dates aren't set in stone. They are town staff's best guest at when the work will be done, according to an email from Bill Webster, Chapel Hill planning and development manager.
The play areas at Cedar Falls, Southern Community and Oakwood parks will remain open.
