For sci-fi fans out there, Chapel Hill's free outdoor movie series has some favorites over the next few weeks.

Movies Under the Stars happens on select Thursdays through Aug. 18 on top of the Wallace Parking Deck, 150 E. Rosemary St. The next three movies all are fun for families - especially those with older kids (note the rating). Free popcorn and activities also are part of the evening.

Here's the schedule:

Thursday, July 28: "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," rated PG-13

Aug. 11: "Men in Black," rated PG-13

Aug. 18: "Space Jam," rated PG

Movies start around 8:30 p.m. once the sun goes down.
