Illegal?? The fact tha he has a spanish name does not mean illegal, the fact that a person has a white name does not mean overweight(fat), or a black name a criminal. We cannot make assumptions, prejudice, or be bias. Anyone that commits a crime should be punished! leave for the federal and state gov. the immigration problems!

Well, what a surprise. Just because the gentleman has a Hispanic sounding name, he's an illegal alien. For all anyone here knows, he could be a natural born American citizen from a family that's been here for many generations. I wonder if he had an Irish, Italian, German or some other foreign sounding name if people would just assume he's an illegal?

mulecitybabe - What makes you think he's not here legally? Secret peeping? Breaking and entering? None of those charges are contingent upon legal status, and I think that you might find that many Americans have been charged with one or both of the above. Really, I can't interpret any sentence in the article to say "he's not here legally", no matter how hard I try.

Why is it racism to point out that somebody is committing a crime by being in our country illegally but it's not racism to point out that somebody is committing a crime by looking into windows and breaking into people's houses? mulecitybabe

if you actually know his legal status it's not racism, if you're only looking at his picture and his name, yep, it is.

If their standing at your window looking in I doubt you'll catch a charge.

    Police: Open up!

grim: What seems to be the problem?

Police: You just shot & killed your neighbor's 10 year old daughter. Their dog got out and went into your bushes and she rushed out to get him. Put the gun down and your hands behind your back...
