Posted — UpdatedChapel Hill officials are considering spots for a playground designed for children with mental or physical disabilities.
Town staff are considering four potential sites for a new accessible playground. They are 2200 Homestead Rd., Cedar Falls Park; Erwin Road just south of Interstate 40; and Southern Community Park. A public forum will be schedule in May or June with more information about the project. It's also an opportunity for the public to offer their thoughts and ideas.
A report on the potential sites and the public input will be presented to the Town Council in the fall. Design would begin once a site is selected.
