Posted April 20, 2014

— Two brothers, ages 13 and 16, were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after the younger teen stabbed his sibling during an argument, police said.

The incident happened at a home on the 100 block of Roundtop Road. The 13-year-old was also injured during the altercation, but the 16-year-old was the only one stabbed, said police, who added their mother was home at the time.

Both were taken to WakeMed for non-life threatening injuries.

It's not that hard. My siblings and I fought all the time. It was a part of growing up. We weren't always within earshot of mom.

Mom was home at the time??? Wonder how she allowed things to escalate to that point without becoming involved?
