Cary seeks volunteers, including teens, for Lazy Daze festival

The town of Cary is looking for more than 150 volunteers for its annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, which is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 24.

A post for the teens out there looking to fill their volunteer hours: 

The town of Cary is looking for more than 150 volunteers for its annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, which is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Aug. 24. Volunteers must be 15 years or older. Roles include load in and out assistants; artist assistants; information stand assistant; children's area activity assistant; festival greeter; and lunch detail.

Kids younger than 15 can volunteer with a parent or guardian. 

Volunteers will work in shifts from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. All volunteers registered by Aug. 20 get a free T-shirt.
