The Town of Cary has temporarily reopened the eastbound lanes of SW Maynard Road from Kilmayne Drive to Kildaire Farm Road while crews work to repair a water main that broke late Tuesday.

<b>CARY, N.C.</b> — The Town of Cary has temporarily reopened the eastbound lanes of SW Maynard Road  from Kilmayne Drive to Kildaire Farm Road while crews work to repair a water main that broke late Tuesday.

The eastbound lanes will close again once a contractor arrives at the scene, probably around 9 a.m., town officials said.

Access to Kilmayne Drive from Kildaire Farm Road is limited. Delays are expected Wednesday morning, and police will be on-site directing traffic.

&quot;These traffic conditions will be effective through the morning commute, and drivers should consider taking an alternate route,&quot; town officials said in a news release.
