Cary Wants to Plunge Into Another Project
CARY, N.C. — The Town Council voted 4-3 Thursday night against using meals and accommodation tax revenue to expand Triangle Aquatics Center.

Supporters hoped the public money would expand the aquatics center into a year-round recreational facility, with water slides, splash grounds and other amenities.

Opponents said Cary has too many other recreational needs, from soccer to baseball, to devote the tax money to the aquatics center.
