If there's one thing this state (no state) needs, it's more minimum wage jobs that easily helps their employees qualify to receive government benefits (welfare, food stamps, WIC, SNAP & Medicaid) while they're working what their employee considers to be a full time jobs, which is usually only 28-32 hours per week.

You have a very narrow, uneducated view of those who are on welfare.
Do you think the young, the old and the disabled, including disabled military veterans can work jobs?
THAT is the vast majority of those on government benefits pal.
    Get a clue!!!

If only they would but why would they? They can just sit back make excuses (see a few posts up) and collect free money without having to get up and go to work. The sad thing is we have so many that are fooled by their sob stories.

Although I did not actually write or post this information about the Publix job fair, I did just correct the grammatical error. Thanks for the heads up and for the entertaining commentary.

I am looking forward to having multiple Publix stores here in the Triangle. They have an excellent reputation for superb customer service, quality foods and competitive pricing promotions.
