Cary police warn of home burglaries

— Cary police issued a warning after they responded to 11 home burglaries since December.

Ten of the break-ins occurred in northern Cary, and on at near Southeast Maynard and Kildaire Farm roads. Most occurred on weekdays between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m., and the burglars targeted flat-screen TVs, computers, jewelry and cash, police said.

Police asked residents to report any suspicious persons or activity near their homes.

    And as a follow up from an OLD Cary native...when did Cary start being divided into zones....crime affects all of us living within the city limits of this melting pot that has now become the NEW Cary.....

    FYI...I paid close attention to this article when first posted and I used the website to see the locations of the various crime locations/descriptions.

    I work late in my garage, some times until 4:00 am or later.
    I am not required to conceal my handgun on my own property....but you can sure bet I am carrying one.....

    Since when did Southeast Maynard become part of Northern Cary? Wouldn't that be southeastern Cary???
