Cary police warn of daytime burglaries

Cary, N.C. — Cary police issued a warning Friday about a recent series of daytime burglaries at homes in the Williamsburg Manor and Walnut Ridge areas.
Police said that three burglaries happened between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. between Aug. 19 and 26. Stolen items included gaming systems and jewelry.
Anyone near the area during the time of the burglaries was asked to call Cary police at 919-469-4324 or Cary Crime Stoppers at 919-226-2746.
Crime Stoppers pays up to $2,500 rewards for the arrest or indictment of suspects in certain crimes. Tips are kept confidential at the caller's request.
