<b>CARY, N.C.</b> — Cary police were in the area of Green Level Church Road and Cary Glen Boulevard on Sunday afternoon in search of a man who was spotted with a rifle.

Authorities said that at about 11 a.m., police received a report of a man who appeared to be walking through the neighborhood with a rifle. No shots were fired and nobody was hurt.

Officers spent several hours in the area trying to locate the man and said the incident turned out to be a medical issue. An all clear was given at about 4 p.m.
