Cary police search for 'furry' bank robbery suspect

Cary police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man they say robbed a Wells Fargo Bank Tuesday.

CARY, N.C. — Cary police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man they say robbed a Wells Fargo Bank Tuesday.

Police said a man, wearing a brown fur trapper hat, a black cloth around his face and sunglasses, entered the bank at 1701 N. Harrison Ave. He demanded money from a teller and left the scene. No injuries were reported.

Authorities said the suspect was wearing a black jacket and stood about 6 feet tall.
