Cary Motorists Can Expect Delays This Weekend

Posted June 1, 2007

— Motorists can expect traffic delays near the SAS Soccer Park in eastern Cary on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate the Animal Plant Expo.

While no lanes will be closed, motorists traveling near East Chatham Street and its intersection with Southeast Maynard Road can expect delays and traffic shifts between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily.

Motorists should use N.C. 54/Chapel Hill Road as an alternate route.

I think they mean Animal PLANET Expo - this has nothing to do with construction - just a public event on Saturday and Sunday held at the SAS Soccer Park - kinda like what you would expect if there were soccer championships held there. Easy to avoid - go over Highway 54 - Chapel Hill Road.

Take a refreshing little incursion to Alaska, where they don't have income tax, and probably don't have these kinds of abusive behavior directed toward their taxpayers.

    Shame on the occupying government!

U need to improve straight away!

This is just the top of the iceberg of the indignities that we are forced to suffer at the hands of our gorvernment.

Every intelligent person knew that when they first made the incursion of construction about seven years ago, that we would have to endure a huge impact to traffic.

Jesus, please, make people responsible for their actions. Please? Please?
