Cary man gets 50 years in prison on child porn charge
A Cary man was sentenced Monday to 50 years in federal prison for videotaped himself having sex with a girl under the age of 16.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Cary man was sentenced Monday to 50 years in federal prison for videotaped himself having sex with a girl under the age of 16.
Ike David Simmons, 39, pleaded guilty in June to manufacturing child pornography stemming from allegations that he molested the girl between 2009 and 2013.
Authorities seized three computer hard drives and Simmons' iPhone, and computer forensics determined that he had videotaped the molestation using his cellphone and then transferred the videos to the hard drives.
Simmons was already a registered sex offender following a 2003 conviction.
