RALEIGH, N.C. — A Cary man is facing a drug-trafficking charge.

Tariq Robinson, 30, of 109 Hasselwood Drive, was charged Wednesday with one count of trafficking ecstasy. He was in the Wake County Jail Friday morning under a $75,000 secured bond.

Robinson is the brother of local football star Koren Robinson, who played at North Carolina State University and is a former receiver for the Green Bay Packers.

Koren Robinson owns the house where Tariq lives. Investigators say there is no evidence that Koren was involved.

He told WRAL News he has been estranged from his brother for more than a year.
