Cary man charged with trafficking ecstasy

Posted May 9, 2008

— A Cary man is facing a drug-trafficking charge.

Tariq Robinson, 30, of 109 Hasselwood Drive, was charged Wednesday with one count of trafficking ecstasy. He was in the Wake County Jail Friday morning under a $75,000 secured bond.

Robinson is the brother of local football star Koren Robinson, who played at North Carolina State University and is a former receiver for the Green Bay Packers.

Koren Robinson owns the house where Tariq lives. Investigators say there is no evidence that Koren was involved.

He told WRAL News he has been estranged from his brother for more than a year.

(Isn't he the brother of the Green Bay Packer who use to play for NCSU - Koren Robinson? What a shame...)

You are right, he's Koren's oldest brother.......

And unless this guy was some kingpin, I don't see how this arrest is different from any other drug arrest. Why is this a major headline? Whats the real story?

Garden-Did you say NOW they are prevalent? lol Where have you been? Its always been around. But its usually the nose candy.

"So, now the drugs are prevalent in Cary also. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, wonder where I can move to."

uh, if you're looking for a community where drugs don't exist, you're going to be looking for a long, long time.
