Cary man charged with animal cruelty

Posted September 15, 2010

— A Cary man has been charged with felony animal abuse for allegedly kicking a chihuahua, according to an arrest warrant.

The warrant alleges that Steven M. Soukup, 24, of 15111 Foresight Drive, kicked the dog, breaking its pelvis and severely bruising its buttocks and right inner ear.

The dog, named Hurley, underwent surgery at North Carolina State University's veterinary school, the warrant states. The dog was fitted with seven screws and a metal plate to fix the injury.

Soukup was arrested Tuesday.

This has nothing to do with a Liberal or a Conservative mindset.
This is about people who consider animals property and it is ok, with them, if he did it again (obviously). To Kelondris:
you cannot kick an animal by accident and break his pelvis and buise him all over. This man is a psychopath and needs to be prosecuted as does the people that returned the dog to him.

hmm, wonder why he kicked that dog? If he was getting attacked by that dog, I could see him kicking it.

I think I've finally mastered the GOLO poster playbook: First, an eye for an eye so kick him in the pelvis. Second, give him the death penalty.

I often have to defend myself. Maybe that's what this guy did.

Defend yourself by kicking him so hard his pelvis breaks? Defend himself against a 5 pound dog?? Really??

  • luvmyjackrascal Sep 15, 2010

So what kind of punishment will this guy get? That dog will be in pain the rest of his life.

maybe you would not be bitten if you stopped harrassing people in their homes with your junk recruiting. No one wants whatever you are peddling so go away.
