Cary man arrested in connection with bank robbery

Cary, N.C. — A 23-year-old Cary man has been charged in connection with the armed robbery of the Fifth Third Bank on Tryon Road.
According to investigators, Andrew Charles Bajerski, of 209 Murray Glen Drive, entered the bank at about 11 a.m. Tuesday, threatened he had a gun and demanded money. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.
Bajerski is charged with robbery with felony armed robbery and made his first court appearance Wednesday at 9 a.m.
Bajerski was being held in the Wake County jail under a $300,000 bond.
