Cary crash overturns SUV

— An SUV and a car crashed in Cary on Friday, sending three people to WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh.

At 11:30 a.m., the crash occurred at the intersection of Cary Parkway and High House Road. The SUV rolled over.

The SUV had three people inside – a man, woman and child. The man and woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the child had no injuries. Their names were not released.

    why is this on here? it happens all the time...and this is nowhere close to the worst intersection in cary (buck jones/walnut ring a bell? how about US1/64 when it rains?)

    So it looks like taking down the red light camera made it a safer intersection...not. This is probably the worst intersection in Cary, and the p&z board and town council approved what appears to be thousands of new apartments 2 lights away...so expect it to get much worse.

    That's one of those "Roll Over" Ford Explorers. Looks like a 99. Got one just like it. You turn fast your going over.

    Reread the story..........centrifugal force might not have been a factor but I still bet the same five dollar bill gunning it through a yellow light was a strong possibility.....or someone ran their red.

    A five dollar bill says the driver tried to gun it through a yellow light and centrifugal force took over. I drive thru this intersection every day and I see it all of the time. Thankfully no serious injuries!
