Cary closing part of Cary Parkway Tuesday

Posted February 23, 2010

— The Town of Cary will close the first 400 feet of the left turning lane on Cary Parkway at Kildaire Farm Road from 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The remaining 125 feet of the left turning lane will remain open so traffic can still turn left onto Kildaire Farm Road.

The closure is necessary for contractors to perform work on the water main, according to Cary officials.

"I found out that road is a D.O.T. road, and not Cary's problem."

You are kidding me? Really? That stinks. That explains it.

I wonder if Cary could complain? It's getting really bad, day by day.

I found out that road is a D.O.T. road, and not Cary's problem.

If enough people complain to the D.O.T., they'll fix it.

Hmmm, fix one pothole or repair water main that provides clean water to thousands?

Maybe Cary has their priorities somewhat confused?

How about fixing that atrocious pavement on Walnut along Crossroads? I saw a guy this morning in Ford 150 going 2 MPH in the middle lane so as not to ruin his a vehicle.

    Cary, you awake???

This is so inconvenient. Maybe Lori and David are losing control.
