Cary changes sign policy for open houses

The council approved the new ordinance on Thursday. It allows signs for five open houses per year, according to city officials. The signs are also allowed at anytime on Saturday or Sunday.

CARY, N.C. — The Town of Cary has changed its sign regulations to allow signs for more open houses.

The original ordinance allowed signs for two open houses per house per year. Signs were also only allowed up during certain hours.

The council approved the new ordinance on Thursday. It allows signs for five open houses per year, according to city officials. The signs are also allowed at anytime on Saturday or Sunday.
