The sweet potatoes are jumbo; two per shrink-wrapped package, and average weight per package was 3+ pounds. I bought some, but will need to wait until the weekend to bake them, because they'll take awhile to cook all the way through.

Thanks for the feedback, Granof20! I appreciate it.

The IGA peanut butter was not a hit at my house - some family members said it tasted "old"

Dr D - thank you for the info about the PB!

I haven't tried their PB myself, but the 4 jars of it I bought last time they had it at that price disappeared just as quickly from our pantry as any other name brand without any comments, so I'll take that as an indicator that it's just fine. Might have to make the trip there this week for more, since $1.25 is now a good price for PB and we go through a lot of it. Plus the sweet potatoes - yum!

watchhillgirl - I have heard about their cakes, I really want to try the 7 layer cake as well.

Have anyone had their peanut butter before? Someone posted about it on the smart shopper FB page, but I have not had it. If you have eaten it, what did you think? You can't beat that price!

    Thanks Faye,
I might stop by there today. And there cakes in the bakery are really really good. If you can ever get a caramel cake, it is wonderful!
