lindabates: I didn't know that!!! I don't like the ribs either, so that is why I don't get the bigger box. I will definitely ask my store if they substitute and I will definitely upgrade a size :)! We added it up one week and there is over $70 worth of meat that you get in just the budget bundle. Thank you so much for the information!

mindyswope - thank you for sharing your experience with the Carlie C's meat box. It's great to know that it's so good!

lindabates - it's good to know that they will switch out items in the box for those you like more. Thanks for the info! If only you could switch out the ribs for one of their 7 layer cakes! LOL

    Mindyswope...
Thanks for sharing I'm also a huge fan of the meat box.. I buy the largest box once a month after driving from Wake Forest to the Zebulon store, and i break it down into meal portions when I get home... they will even swap items if you'd like for example I'm not a rib fan so they will swap it for more of another item in the box. Like you said the quality of the meat is very good and I love the price! Thanks for mentioning it!!!

Hi Faye: I am a die hard SmartShopper for years now :) As a couponer, the hardest $ for me to shell out is on meats. I love when I can find a good meat markdown! However, since I found the Budget Bundle at Carlie C's, it's my meat GO-TO! We even drive from Mebane to the one in Durham every other Saturday to get it. You get 5lb. of hamburger, 5lb. of porkchops, 5lb. of steak, and 5lb. of either chicken drumsticks or thighs. All are broken down into 2.5lb packages. They pull it right off the shelf in front of you to box it up. All for $34.95!! It's changed my way of meat shopping. The meat has very little fat and bones in it, and honestly is some of the best meat I ever bought. They have other bundles (smaller and bigger), but this one works perfect for my family! I just wanted to share with the faithful readers :)
