Raleigh, N.C. — Cary police said Saturday that three 17-year-old Cardinal Gibbons High School students are recovering from injuries sustained in a crash late Friday morning.
Laura Santiago was driving with passengers Matthew Sheehan and Annetta San Diego back to the Raleigh school from lunch when they were involved in the three-vehicle wreck at Chapel Hill and Trinity roads.
San Diego was in critical but stable condition at WakeMed Saturday, and Sheehan and Santiago were in good condition. Police said all three are expected to recover.
The cause of the crash was still under investigation.
