PITTSBORO, N.C. — Chatham County authorities said Tuesday that they have found a car a Siler City woman was seen driving before she was found dead two weeks ago.

The body of Daphne Forster, 38, was found Oct. 10 along Chicken Bridge Road in northern Chatham County. She was last seen at about 10:20 p.m. Oct. 9 at Cruizer's Convenient Store in Pittsboro.

Her blue 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier was found early Monday outside a hotel on Guess Road in Durham, authorities said. Deputies impounded the car, and State Bureau of Investigation analysts checked it for evidence.
