Vehicle slams into Raleigh apartment building

— Authorities said a vehicle crashed into an apartment building at 2311 Fox Ridge Manor Road around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday.

A family of four was inside the apartment unit that the car struck, but none were injured, according to officials.

Authorities said no charges have been made and an investigation is underway.

No additional information has been released.

    Wow. Scary to be on the roads these days. Getting scary to even be inside unless you have trees surrounding your home. Doesn't appear any effort was made to stop. Glad no one was hurt.

    Amazing. It seems you can do anything you want if you are driving a car. Kill people, run over school kids in crosswalks, drive into apartments, nearly taking out an entire family. What is so magical about motor vehicles that provides this immunity from consequences?

    That car looks like it was launched into the building. It must have been going pretty fast to break through a brick wall- and the grass doesn't look torn up, either. Hmmmm?
