FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A car crashed through the front of a state Division of Motor Vehicles driver's license office in Fayetteville on Wednesday, closing the office until next week, officials said.

The car slammed into the office, at  841-A Elm St., at Eutaw Village and Bragg Boulevard, at about noon. No injuries were reported, and there was no word on what caused the crash.

The storefront window was shattered, and the bricks around it were damaged, officials said.

DMV officials suggested people use the driver's license office at 2439 Gillespie St. in Fayetteville until the damaged office is repaired and can reopen.
