DURHAM, N.C. — A BMW crashed into a stopped Durham school bus Thursday morning, causing two minor injuries, police said.

The bus was stopped on Chandler Road at Holloway Street when the car crashed into the left rear wheel. The teen driver was reaching for some food and made a wide turn before hitting the bus, police said.

Sixteen students were on the bus at the time, and one complained of a headache afterward. The student was treated at the scene.

The bus driver was taken to Duke Regional Hospital for treatment of arm pain, police said. The BMW driver wasn't hurt.

There was no word on any charges filed.
